Challenge
The city of Long Beach is a leader in innovatice economic development and is undergoing an unprecedented building boom. The initiatives are focused on revitalizing neighborhoods with new housing, shopping and office development, as well as transforming the downtown district into an exciting 24-hour urban center. Our role was to share the city’s forward-thinking policies, processes and accomplishments with the media.
Solution
In partnership with Lauter & Gallagher, worked with the Mayor, key government officials and active private-sector participants to develop compelling key messages and story angles. Leveraged existing media relationships and developed new contacts relevant to the city’s needs. Prominent coverage was secured in such publications as the New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Business Journal.
