Project
Asset Positioning + Tenant Development
Client
Jamestown, a leading national real estate acquisition and management firm
Challenge
Brand a specific market corridor and cluster of Jamestown-owned assets as an urban campus to attract leading innovation companies and the growing technology sector. The mixed-use properties—799 Market Street and Pacific Place (22 Fourth/801 Market Street)—are located at the nexus of San Francisco’s SoMa, Financial District, and Union Square submarkets in San Francisco.
Solution
Developed messaging, visuals, and press initiatives that emphasized the vibrant urban nature of the assets’ location; delineated the many amenities tailored to today’s workers including bike- and dog-friendly environments, onsite cafes, and contemporary art installations; and highlighted the tenant-centric focus of ownership. Both properties attracted top-tier technology/creative companies, including Intuit for 200,000 square feet, and are now 100% leased. Jamestown subsequently sold Pacific Place for $415 million.
