I’m delighted to share some personal news (as they say in the Twittersphere).
I’m expanding my professional focus to include grant writing, with the objective of aligning my corporate communications background with a passion for nonprofit work.
In order to build skills in this area, I’ve completed a comprehensive grants development and funding course. As well, in a separate but related pursuit, I’m finishing a graduate program in Gerontology at the University of Florida, College of Medicine. My ultimate objective would be to seek grants in support of elder services and resources.
Meanwhile, as I look to gain hands-on experience, I am open and excited to support nonprofits and service entities across all sectors. Other specific subject areas of expertise include arts and infrastructure.
I look forward to connecting with experts in the field, and organizations that need assistance. I truly appreciate the positive feedback and assistance that I’ve already received from so many wonderful colleagues and friends.
